Getting Started:

 

            As stated above this software is designed to meet your everyday life transaction. In order to track the expense and income, you need to know in what category are you spending the money and grabbing the money. When you start the track wallet the user Default user is automatically created. No password is assigned. So if u just press the ok button of the login window you can enter the trackwallet. If you want to assign password associated with Default user, you need to click the main menu -> Accounts -> Change Password.

 

             Account Settings:

                 In the login window of TrackWallet, you will find account settings. Clicking in the button, it will provide you with 3 options:

            1)  New User Registration: This software supports multiple users. To add a new user select this button and press ok. A new user registration window which is required to filled. 

            2)  Delete User: To delete user just select this option. A delete user window will appear. You need to insert the username and password to delete the account.                       

            3) Change Password: To change the password of the account select the 3rd option. Old password will be asked along with the username.   

                      

       TrackWallet Features:

 

             Adding category:

                Initially 12 categories are embedded with any new user. If these 12 categories is not sufficient you can add new category. To add category you need to click the 1st toolbar item which has a tool tips "Add Income and Expense Categories".

             Edit or Delete Category:

                 For editing the fields of category or delete the category you need to push the 4th toolbar button which shows "Edit or Delete Income, Expense category". Another way to achieve this function click main menu -> Actions -> Categories -> Edit or Delete Opiton. A list of all the categories will appear. You need to select the desired category which will be in action.

             Viewing the categories:

            For viewing the categories click the 6th toolbar button which shows "View Income and Expense Categories". Another way to view main menu -> View -> Categories.

             Add Income and Expense transaction:

            In order add the everyday life income and expense transaction you need to push the 2nd toolbar button which displays "Add Income and Expense Transaction". A window will appear which will seek the name, type of transaction (either Income or Expense), amount of money in transaction and other fields along with a list of categories. You need to choose the category which this transaction belongs to.

            Edit or Delete Income and Expense transaction:

            For editing the fields of transaction or delete the transaction you need to push the 5th toolbar button which shows "Edit or Delete Income, Expense and bank transaction". Another way to achieve this function click main menu -> Actions -> Transaction -> Edit or Delete Option. A window will come you need to select the type of transaction (Bank, Income or Expense) from the combo box and the list of all transaction regarding that type will be visible in the list box below. Just select the specified transaction and proceed.

             Viewing the income and expense transaction:

            For viewing the Income transaction click the 8th toolbar button which shows "View Income transactions". Another way to view main menu ->   View -> Income transections. For viewing the Expense transaction click the 7th toolbar button which shows "View Expense transactions". Another way to view main menu -> View -> Expense transactions.

             Add Bank Account:

            Initially with the default user no account is specified. In order to add a bank account you need to click main menu -> Account -> bank account -> Add. A window will appear which will seek for the bank details. When you are creating a new user, bank account can be associated. If you don’t have a bank account or not willing to add bank account just select the "No" option with bank account.

            Edit or Delete Bank Account:

            For editing the fields of bank account or delete the bank account you need to click main menu -> Account -> bank account -> Edit or Delete Option. A window will come you need to select the bank account from the list of all bank accounts that will be visible in the list box below. Just select the specified transaction and proceed.

             Add Bank Transaction:

            In order to add bank transaction the 3rd button of the toolbar is required to be pushed which shows "Add Bank Transaction”. Window appearing the list of bank account and other options will be visible. Fill the options to add transaction.

             Edit or Delete Bank Transactions:

             Follow the guidelines of edit and delete income or expense transaction. Just select bank from the type of transaction and proceed.

             Viewing the Bank Transactions:

          For viewing the categories click the 9th toolbar button which shows "View Bank Transections". Another way to view main menu -> View -> Bank Transactions.

             Viewing Bank Informations:

            For viewing the details of all the attached bank account with the user account just click the last toolbar button. Another way to view main menu -> View -> BankInfo.

 

        Account Details:

 

            Viewing Account Details:

            For viewing the account details just click main menu -> Accounts -> AccountInfo.

            Change Password:

            For changing password of the user account click main menu -> Accounts -> Change Password.

            Switching user:

          In order to switch user, click main menu -> File -> Switch User. Clicking this, the login window will appear. If you cancel or log of from the  switched user, then you will again be redirected to previous user.

             Log Off:

                When you have finished the task you can log off from your account by clicking main menu -> File -> Log off. Still the application is running. If  you cancel from the log off window you will exit TrackWallet.

 

       Viewing Previous records:

 

             In order to view the previous record of Income and Expence just click the items show in the left portion of the software named TrackWallet Stuffs. You can select the type of transaction along with month desired.It will show the details of the transaction.

 

       Printing the records:

 

               The printing option is situated in Main Menu -> File. It provides three options:

            Set print setting through print settings options.

            Print the last viewed or currently viewed record.

            If you have not viewed anything with the current session of execution if will print nothing.

            The Print preview with Print preview option to see what will be printed.
